The Burke County Youth Band Camp is going into its 9th season and we look forward to our biggest and best camp ever! This year we expect well over 200 students from Burke County and surrounding areas. Below you will find camp information. At the bottom of this page you will find registration forms and other information that you can download.

Times: Beginning Band Camp (rising 6th grade students):
9:00am-12:00pm (registration at 8:00am)
Advanced Camp (rising 7th-9th grade students):
1:00pm-4:00pm (registration at 12:00pm)
Walk-Ins: Walk-ins are welcome for both camps. The walk-in registration fee is $50 and checks should be made payable to FHS Band Boosters.
Drop-off and Pick-up: All students should be dropped off and picked up from the main entrance (second entrance after the stop light) at Patton High School. Parents should come in with their child for registration on the first day of camp; however they may drop them off at the main entrance the rest of the week. Please drop off and pick up your child promptly.
Instruments: All students are required to have a playable instrument for camp. Students who play school owned instruments such as tuba, baritone, and french horn and do not have one to play must contact Chad Higdon (firstname.lastname@example.org or 433-3033) before the camp to make sure that an instrument can be provided.
Lunch: Lunch will not be provided for students. Snacks and drinks will be provided at breaks.
Behavior: Students are expected to follow all school rules and behave in an appropriate manner. Students with discipline problems may be asked to leave early and will not be able to attend the rest of the camp. The registration fee will not be refunded if your child is dismissed because of disciplinary issues.
Concert: All students in the Beginning and Advanced Camps will present a free concert on Friday, August 1st at 11:00am in the auditorium at Patton High School. All students, including all Advanced Camp students will begin camp at 9:00am on Friday morning. There will not be an afternoon session. Come see the students perform what they have learned throughout the week!
